Sheepdog Presentation

 This is my sheepdog presentation

Sheepdogs

Shetland Sheepdogs
Sheepdogs are mammals. They also are carnivores and belong to a group called canines.

Sheepdogs have fast skinny legs. They also have sharp pointy canine teeth. Their paws are hard as rock. Their ears can be big and pointy. They vary in size. Dogs use their teeth to impale things like meat and steak.

Sheepdogs are loud noisy animals. When dogs hunt in packs the top dog growls at the others and tells them what to do. They also communicate with others to make a plan for attack. Some of the other dogs are submissive because they don’t want to fight with the top dog by crouching down. They have moist and sensitive noses which can smell things very well. They use their claws to help them run and for gripping things.

Sheepdogs were once wild but now are tame. In the wild sheepdogs captured their prey but they were domesticated.Farmers thought about dogs catching their prey and trained dogs to chase sheep instead. The farmer trains the dogs to chase sheep and to regroup them.Sheepdogs are used to surround  sheep and to bring them back to the barn. One of the breeds they use for farming are called Shetland Sheepdogs.

Dogs are very intelligent mammals and they are very helpful.

Cows

20th March 2014
Cows
When cows give birth they stand or lie down. When the calves pop out they try to stand on their feet but they wobble around. But later they soon stand properly. Sometimes the farmer goes and checks on the cows and then he gets the little calves and takes them to a warmer place where the other calves stay.

When the calves are in the shed they are very hungry. Sometimes the calves get very greedy and want to be first to drink the milk. The calves start to nibble on the grass when they begin getting older. As they grow older they drink less of milk and more of grass. They also drink nice clean water.

When the calves are small they have little sharp horns. Their horns are removed by hot iron. The calves are injected so they won’t get big sharp horns that will hurt them.

The farmers keep the best calves because they are milking cows. The female cows make 20,000 litres a year. Some cattles are killed so they can be made into beef. The rest of the cattles are used for breeding.

Beauty & the Beast Review

This my story about Beauty and the Beast

Beauty & the Beast
Guess where we went on Friday? On Friday the 9th of  May Christ the King School went to Vodafone  Events Center  to watch the Beauty and the  Beast Stage Show Disneys Version presented by Sancta Maria College Students at 12.00. The Story is about a prince who was selfish and cruel  until  one day a spell made him change into a beast. When he finds someone that loves him unconditionally the spell will broken and he will become a human again. The actors were Olivia Brown (Beauty), Roman Bennett (Beast), Eljay Florendo (Gaston), James Moore (Lafou), Matthew Chalk (Maurice), Matthew Laguda (Lumier), Connor Farrell (Gagsworth), Keelin Weekly (Mrs Potts) , Aiden van Heerden (Chip), Tayla Sloan (Babette), Michaela Ralph-Smit (Wardrobe), Stephen Fletcher (Monsieur D'Arque), Cassidy Wilson, Emily Lygall, Janae Featherstone (The Silly Girls). I would  like  to see  some trees in the setting when Beauty goes into the forest. I recommend this for people who like romantic movies. This movie is suitable for everybody.
